Ukraine is in trouble internally and externally. Zelensky was kicked out of the venue by the United States just as he was about to ask for money

News from the eastern edge of Europe has attracted worldwide attention: the Ukrainian government is facing internal and external difficulties. Domestically, the Ukrainian army has been losing ground on the battlefield, triggering public anger. Cuts in international aid and a financial crisis have also pushed Ukraine into trouble. At this critical moment, Ukrainian President Zelensky is doing his best to secure U.S. assistance, but disagreements within the U.S. Congress have stalled the aid plan.

Domestically, the Ukrainian army's steady retreat has made the Ukrainian people complain. The army, which was once full of ambition and vowed to defend the country, is now retreating steadily in the face of Russia's attacks. It has lost not only its territory, but also people's trust in the government. Public anger is growing and the government is demanding more decisive action, but military setbacks and internal corruption are making it difficult for the government to respond.

Ukraine also faces a severe fiscal crisis. The government's financial funds are about to run out, and the domestic economic situation is worrying. The deterioration of the fiscal situation has made it difficult for the government to maintain domestic infrastructure and social welfare projects, and people's living standards have gradually declined. These problems have further inflamed domestic dissatisfaction and left the government feeling beleaguered both internally and externally.

In order to deal with this dilemma, Ukrainian President Zelensky has turned to international assistance, especially support from the United States. However, divisions within the U.S. Congress have stalled the aid plan over Ukraine's slow progress on military and political reforms and their skepticism about continued aid, which they believe does not bring substantial returns to the United States.

Faced with those U.S. lawmakers who were skeptical of aid to Ukraine, Zelensky planned to talk to U.S. senators through video to gain support. However, at the last moment when he was about to deliver a speech, the video connection was suddenly cut off. Zelensky’s appeal found no audience.

The sudden incident sparked widespread speculation. Schumer, the majority leader of the U.S. Congress, offered a far-fetched explanation, saying that Zelenskiy "had some problems" at the last minute, which led to the cancellation of the speech. However, this explanation is unconvincing, because Zelensky urgently needs assistance from the United States and is unlikely to destroy the Great Wall. A more reasonable explanation is that U.S. lawmakers have heard enough of Zelensky’s rhetoric and do not want to continue listening, and this also reflects the domestic fatigue of aiding Ukraine.

The conflict between Ukraine and Russia is not just a bilateral issue, but also involves international security and geopolitics. Therefore, the international community should actively seek to resolve disputes through diplomatic means. Russia and Ukraine should engage in dialogue and find common solutions to end the conflict and restore peace.

Solving the complex problems facing Ukraine requires joint efforts and compromise from all parties. The current situation remains challenging and it is unclear what the ultimate outcome will be. The Ukrainian government needs to manage domestic problems more wisely and reduce internal instability while actively seeking international support. The U.S. Congress needs to carefully balance domestic interests and international responsibilities and provide appropriate support to Ukraine.

In this context, the conflict between Ukraine and Russia may further evolve into a transitional phase that will not only affect Ukraine but will also become the focus of international politics. The international community needs to work together to find a solution that can calm tensions and achieve peace. However, resolving this issue will not be easy and the controversy will continue.

Both the Ukrainian government and the U.S. Congress need to take a more sensible and pragmatic approach to solving the current crisis. Only by balancing the interests of all parties and finding common solutions can we overcome the current difficulties and create a more stable and prosperous situation for Ukraine's future. This issue is not only related to Ukraine, but also to the peace and security of the international community. It should attract great attention and joint efforts from the world.
