（新加坡路透电）马来西亚石油业四名知情人士透露，国际能源巨头蚬壳集团（Shell）正与沙特阿拉伯国有油企沙特阿美（Saudi Aramco）洽谈，出售其在马国的油站业务，交易金额可能达50亿令吉（约14亿2400万新元）。
蚬壳拒绝回应此事，只说马国对蚬壳而言是个重要国家。沙特阿美也拒绝置评。
一名消息人士透露，蚬壳与沙特阿美的谈判在2023年底开始，可能在未来几个月敲定协议。两名知情人士透露，潜在交易规模约为40亿至50亿令吉。

这项交易是去年1月出任蚬壳总裁的萨万（Wael Sawan）让蚬壳进行能源转型的计划之一。蚬壳曾宣布今年和明年脱售500家油站。这个计划与它出售新加坡毛广岛的炼油厂和石化厂计划相一致。
总部位于伦敦的蚬壳在马国独资拥有约950家油站，规模仅次于马国国家石油公司（Petronas）。蚬壳在马国除了经营油站，也销售工业润滑油。它也在砂拉越和沙巴近海生产原油和天然气，也是两家液化天然气企业的联营伙伴。
沙特阿美在马国没有油站业务，它与马国国油合资经营柔佛州边佳兰的炼油厂，供应给当地和国外市场。
