Israel's defense exports in 2023 amounted to $13.073 billion, doubling in five years and setting a new high for the third consecutive year.
Israel's Defense Ministry said in a statement Monday that 36 percent of Israel's defense exports in 2023 were related to missiles, rockets and air defense systems, up from 19 percent in 2022. Asia and the Pacific account for 48 percent of Israel's defense exports, Europe 35 percent, North America 9 percent, Latin America 4 percent, Arab countries that have normalized relations with Israel 3 percent, and Africa 1 percent.
According to the statement, Israel signed hundreds of export agreements for defense products worldwide in 2023, of which huge deals worth more than $100 million accounted for 40 percent.
