印度尼西亚火山机构说，伊布火山星期二（6月4日）再喷发，火山灰柱高五公里，目前未有疏散报告。
路透社报道，印尼火山学和地质灾害缓解中心（PVMBG）官员赫鲁宁特亚斯说，位于东部哈马黑拉岛的伊布火山（Mount Ibu）星期二清晨5时36分喷发，持续约两分钟。他提醒民众，禁止在火山口方圆七公里活动。
赫鲁宁特亚斯说：“这座火山最近很活跃，因为有强烈的岩浆运动。”他也说，自5月16日至今，伊布火山一直处于最高警戒状态。
PVMBG的视频图像显示伊布火山星期二发生小规模喷发，滚滚火山灰直冲云霄。
印尼灾害管理机构说，伊布火山近一个月发生一连串喷发，附近七个村庄的居民因此被令撤离。但当局星期二并没有发布疏散令。
