马来西亚近期不断传出内阁改组的消息。有消息人士称，马国首相安华可能在9月底至10月初之间宣布改组。
马国《星报》引述消息人士报道，政府内部的声音普遍认为，内阁改组将在10月13日提呈2024年财政预算案前实现。一些人甚至称，安华最早可能在本周内宣布改组。
这次的内阁改组相信不仅涉及部长，一些官方机构成员，包括部门总监和秘书长也可能被换走。
来自政府内部的消息指出，一些负责人预料会被撤换，一些人可能换到更好的部门，有些则可能被降级到“不太重要的部门”。
另一名领袖说：“一些人会选择‘退休’，如果你明白我的意思。这很重要，若部长和官员存在问题，要如何一起做出改变呢？”
事实上，马国近期很多部门已做人事调动，卫生部、国防部、国家团结部、首相署，以及投资、贸易及工业部都迎来人事调动。
另外，消息说，除了部长职上的洗牌，部门所掌管的事务也可能发生变动，其中天然资源、环境及气候变化部可能发生改变，因气候变化应该独立一个部门。
消息人士说：“看首相在联合国大会上的讲话，除了伊斯兰恐惧症，他也重视气候变化和再生能源。我相信会看到更多部门将被重新命名，也许联邦直辖区会再次独立成为一个部门”，以减轻安华的负担。
