中国与尼泊尔时隔四年恢复开放传统边贸点。
据新华社报道，中尼传统边贸点恢复开放仪式星期六（5月25日）在西藏自治区日喀则市定结县陈塘镇举行，日喀则市定结县陈塘、仲巴县玛永、萨嘎县土巴荣、吉隆县宗嘎、聂拉木县扎西岗、定日县绒辖、定结县日屋等传统边贸点恢复开放。
在恢复开放仪式现场，陈塘传统边贸点110家中国商户和47家尼泊尔商户，围绕日用百货、建筑材料、食品饮料、农特产品、尼泊尔工艺品等50余种商品进行了交易。
据中国西藏新闻网报道，中尼传统边贸在2020年因冠病疫情暂停。
根据报道，传统边贸活动是边境地区特有的贸易形式，也是保障中尼双边边民生产生活物资供应的重要平台。
日喀则市商务局局长冯学成说，传统边贸活动有助于边境地区繁荣发展，有助于双方边民的交流合作，下一步将不断改善边贸基础设施，推动中尼双方经贸交流合作。
作为面向南亚开放的中心城市，日喀则与印度、尼泊尔、不丹三国接壤，拥有五个陆路通商口岸。
