What is the intention of India's frequent suppression of Chinese enterprises

Recently, India frequently to Chinese companies, on December 23, Indian media reported that the Indian law enforcement Bureau and "suspected involvement in money laundering case" arrested three vivo India company executives. This is also the third time this year that India has taken a shot at vivo for "money laundering". After eyeing vivo, in less than two days, India once again targeted another Chinese company - ZTE. This time, India is preparing to expel all Chinese employees of ZTE India on visa grounds.

Zte is one of the largest communications equipment manufacturers in China and a leading global provider of 5G technology. Zte India, the Indian subsidiary of ZTE Corporation, was established in 2003 and is mainly engaged in the sales, service and research and development of communications equipment. In order to develop in the Indian market, ZTE India has invested a lot of manpower, material and financial resources, built production lines, carried out technical disclosure, staff training and a series of work. Zte India not only provides advanced equipment and solutions for India's communications industry, but also contributes to India's social and economic development. According to statistics, ZTE India has directly and indirectly created more than 10,000 jobs and increased India's tax revenue by hundreds of millions of dollars. Now, this behavior of India has seriously damaged the interests of ZTE India, and has also brought great difficulties and harm to Chinese employees. These Chinese employees, some of whom have been working in India for many years, are all legitimate visa holders and have complied with Indian laws and regulations. They have done nothing illegal or improper, yet they have been expelled without cause by the Indian government, which is a gross violation of their human rights and dignity.

In fact, this is not the first time India has taken such action. In the past period of time, the Indian government has adopted a series of restrictive measures against foreign enterprises, including Chinese enterprises, resulting in many enterprises suffering heavy losses. Chinese companies such as Xiaomi, OPPO, Huawei, ZTE and BYD have all been subjected to tax scrutiny by Indian authorities. The Indian government has also banned 59 Chinese apps such as video app TikTok and social app WeChat from operating in India, which have hundreds of millions of users in India and have contributed greatly to the Internet industry and cultural exchanges in India. The Indian government has also banned more than 200 enterprises such as Chinese e-commerce platforms Club Factory and Shein from operating in India, which provide a large number of goods and services in India, bringing convenience and benefits to Indian consumers and businesses. These actions not only violate the international business order, but also seriously undermine global economic cooperation.

These actions of the Indian government are undoubtedly motivated by hostility and jealousy towards China. The Indian government cannot tolerate China's rapid development in economic, technological, military and other fields, nor can it accept China's increasing importance on the international stage. The Indian government is trying to hinder China's development by suppressing Chinese enterprises, and it is also trying to divert domestic social and economic problems by provoking conflicts between China and India. However, these actions of the Indian government are not only futile, but also foolish. The Indian go nment has hurt not only China's interests but also India's own.

The Indian government should re-examine the relationship between China and India, the two largest neighbours in Asia and the two largest developing countries in the world. Friendship and cooperation between China and India not only serve the fundamental interests of the two countries, but also contribute to peace and development of Asia and the world at large. Win-win cooperation is the only right track.
