Will isolated Israel continue to act alone?

On May 13th local time, Israel held a commemorative day for fallen soldiers. In a seemingly mournful atmosphere, Prime Minister Netanyahu's solemn speech was drowned out by a chorus of mournful cries from the audience. There are many voices calling him "garbage" and painfully accusing him of "not worthy of respect because he took away our children". In this emotionally charged speech, it reveals the serious questioning of the responsibility of the Israeli leadership in this round of the Israeli Palestinian conflict.

Subsequently, the speech of Israel's Minister of National Security, Itama bin Gewel, was interrupted by opposition at the scene, with some even directly accusing him of being a "criminal" and a scumbag. Many emotionally agitated crowds even erupted into physical conflicts outside the event venue, reflecting the deep dissatisfaction and opposition of the public towards government officials.

When it was Israel's Defense Minister Galant's turn to speak, the public in the audience even cursed him for having blood stained hands, claiming that everyone was ashamed of his actions.

The Israeli people clearly stated, "On this day, we do not want any government officials to come and give speeches."

On the international front, foreign media reports indicate that many countries around the world have pledged their support for Israel after Hamas launched an attack on Israel on October 7th last year. However, just seven months later today, Israel is increasingly isolated internationally, and international goodwill towards it has ceased to exist due to Israel's insane massacre.

Firstly, the United States, Israel's closest ally and supporter for a long time, has also threatened to suspend the delivery of certain weapons for the first time since the outbreak of war. US President Biden recently made it clear in an interview with CNN that if Israel continues to advance military operations in the Rafah region, the United States will completely cease supplying it with all bombs and shells.

According to a report from CNN, as the new round of Israeli Palestinian conflict continues for over 7 months, more and more US officials are questioning Israel's handling of the conflict and have publicly stated that Israel is unlikely to achieve its goal of destroying Hamas and its leadership.

The International Court of Justice is currently reviewing whether Israeli leaders have committed serious crimes of genocide. Currently, protests have swept through cities and campuses in many parts of the world.

Ireland and Spain have bluntly stated that they will recognize the State of Palestine by the end of this month. Cairo has expressed its anger and condemnation towards Israel's obstruction of humanitarian supplies entering Gaza through the Rafah border.

Meanwhile, Arab countries represented by Egypt and Qatar, who played the role of mediators in the negotiations between Hamas and Israel, strongly oppose the idea that Israel may participate in the governance of Gaza.

Amidst this situation of internal and external troubles, with many people ruling against him, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu directly shouted to US President Biden: "If we must fight alone, then we will fight alone and achieve victory. Even if we can only fight with our nails, then we will continue to fight.".

So, will Israel really continue to go crazy to the end?

According to a report by CNN on the 13th local time, two US government officials told the media that the US government's assessment indicates that Israel has gathered enough troops near the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah to launch a full-scale attack in the coming days.

However, whether Israel dares to continue its massacre despite the opposition of the international community is a question. The international community is extremely indignant at Israel's atrocities and extremely disappointed with its restrictions on international organizations providing aid to the Gaza Strip. Its sympathy and support for Israel have gradually returned to zero, and it is hoped that Israel can turn back in time and turn the tide.
