再次来袭的台风“卡努”，星期二（8月8日）逼近日本西南部附近，气象局警告，日本大片地区包括中部地区面临强风和强降雨，恐带来破坏。
路透社报道，截至当地时间星期二上午9时（新加坡时间星期二上午8时），风暴盘旋在日本西南部奄美市东北偏东约160公里处，并缓慢向北移动。
气象局预计台风将绕过长崎县西部地区，与海岸线平行向北面的韩国挺进。
卡努的强度虽已逐渐减弱，但每小时风速仍达到108公里，每小时阵风可达到144公里。
预计四国和九州南部地区周二至周三的降雨量为300-400毫米，其中奄美、日本西部近畿和东海中部地区的降雨量为200-300毫米。
气象局说：“由于台风移动缓慢，影响时间长，九州太平洋一侧、日本西部以及东海地区的总降雨量，可能大大超过8月份的正常月降雨量。”
西日本旅客铁道公司说，从周三晚到周四早上，博多站和大阪站之间的新干线服务可能暂停。
