韩国政府星期二（6月18日）向医协个体医生下达开工命令，并计划控告医生单方面拒绝看诊等行为。
韩联社报道，韩国保健福祉部长官曹圭鸿主持应对医界集体行动会议时说，政府已于上星期一（10日）向全国3万6000多家医疗机构下达维持诊疗和停诊申报命令，于星期二下达开工令。此举旨在最大限度减少医疗人员不足带来的负面影响。
曹圭鸿说，政府将严正应对医界非法行为，并依据《医疗法》控告个体医生在未提前通知的情况下取消预约看诊等行为。对于通过社交媒体教唆他人参与非法集体停诊等行为，政府也将委托侦办机构调查。
另外，在医疗界集体停诊扩大的情况下，韩国政府将致力于加强各地紧急诊疗体系，最大限度使用公共医疗机构病床，逐步扩大夜间和公休日诊疗规模等。
