韩国首尔一家法院驳回了医生和医学院学生提出的制止政府增加医学院名额的请求。行政法院上个月已经做出了对政府有利的裁决。
法院星期四（5月16日）的声明说，法院驳回医学院教授、见习医生和医学院申请人的申请，理由是他们不是本案合格的诉讼主体。
法新社报道，首尔行政法院4月3日裁决不受理这项申请，首尔高等法院星期四也做出驳回判决。但裁决书指出，每年大幅增招2000人确实可能严重侵害医学生的学习权，认为今后仍须在招生名额上尊重各校意见，制定上限。
首尔行政法院4月在一审中裁定，提出申请的医学院教授、住院医生及学生并非当事人，不满足诉讼条件，不予受理；星期四的上诉审中则认定，目前就读医学院的在校生符合申请资格，但在审理后仍决定驳回。
法院宣布裁决后，国务总理韩德洙对国民发表谈话时表示感谢。他说，政府推行的医学院扩招和医疗改革渡过一大难关。
2月20日，数千名医务人员停止工作，抗议政府培训更多医生的计划，医院陷入混乱。法院发言人告诉法新社，医生和学生可以上诉，能上诉至最高法院。
