South Korea's military on Monday spotted North Korea's military preparing to blow up a highway linking the two Koreas.

Yonhap news Agency reported that the North Korean military is suspected of preparing to blow up the road at the junction of the Kyongui Line and the East Sea Line, and the South Korean military is closely monitoring the activities of the North.

The North Korean military's General Staff announced Wednesday that it will cut off all roads and railways connecting South Korea and start strengthening its defense facilities. On the same day, the DPRK informed the United Nations Command of relevant information, saying that the DPRK will mobilize a large number of personnel and equipment to carry out operations, including blasting work.

South Korean military research and judgment, the military captured the same day of the North's activities, aimed at cutting off the inter-Korean road and carry out fortress project.
