法新社星期四（7月18日）报道了三星电子的这个宣布。
三星的文告说，Oxford Semantic Technologies专注于知识图谱（knowledge graph）技术，这是一种在网络中存储复杂信息的更先进方式。
它指出，预计未来这个技术“不仅会应用于移动设备，还会应用于电视和家电等多种产品”。
三星并未透露这个交易的金额。
