世界卫生组织（WHO）说，一批在印度生产、在伊拉克销售的感冒药水受到有毒化学物质污染，向全球发布医疗产品警报。
彭博社报道，世卫星期一（8月7日）说，去年生产的一批Cold Out感冒药水“对儿童尤其不安全，服用它可能导致严重伤害甚至死亡”。
在伊拉克发现的这批Cold Out感冒药水，是由Fourrts（印度）实验室为印度Dabilife Pharma制药公司生产的。
分析发现，样品中含有0.25%的二甘醇（diethylene glycol）和2.1%的乙二醇（ethylene glycol）污染物。乙二醇和二甘醇的可接受安全限值都不应超过0.10%。
世卫说，警报提及的Cold Out感冒药水可能已在其他国家或区域获得上市许可，也可能通过非正规市场分销到其他国家。
伊拉克当局尚未报告任何与Cold Out感冒药水有关的疾病。伊拉克卫生部上周说，这款药水未通过伊拉克当局进行的单独测试，市场上流通的产品已被没收。
去年，印度尼西亚、冈比亚、乌兹别克斯坦和喀麦隆暴发受污染咳嗽药水问题，导致约300名儿童死亡。
二甘醇和乙二醇对人体有害，毒性反应包括腹痛、呕吐、腹泻、无法排尿、头痛、精神状态改变和可能导致死亡的急性肾损伤。
世卫此前已就其他受污染的液体剂型药物发布了五次警报。
