新华社第比利斯9月11日电（记者李铭）格鲁吉亚总理加里巴什维利11日宣布，格鲁吉亚从即日起给予中国公民免签待遇。
加里巴什维利在当天的政府会议上说，中国是世界第二大经济体，深化对华经贸合作、吸引更多中国投资、接待更多中国游客均是格鲁吉亚政府的重要工作方向。格政府决定即日起给予中国公民免签待遇，相关细则将很快公布。
今年7月加里巴什维利访华期间，中格双方宣布将两国关系提升至战略伙伴关系。
