日本星期二（6月18日）公布的统计数据显示，截至6月9日，日本今年报告的链球菌中毒休克综合征（俗称“食人菌”感染症）病例数累计破千，达1019起。
新华社报道，据日本国立感染症研究所介绍，链球菌中毒休克综合征是一种由β溶血性链球菌外毒素引起的急性综合征，致死率超过30%，所以其致病菌在日本被称为“食人菌”。
国立感染症研究所发布的6月3日至9日的周报显示，截至9日，日本全国今年已确认超过1000起感染症病例。其中，东京都今年累计确认病例150起，为全国最多，其次是爱知县和埼玉县。
今年以来，“食人菌”在日本扩散速度明显快于往年，不到半年，日本报告的病例就已超过去年全年病例数。
“食人菌”的传播途径一般为经鼻腔、咽喉黏膜的飞沫传播和经伤口等的接触传播。专家说，这类细菌感染的初期症状容易被误诊为感冒，由于病情发展迅速，如果出现高烧谵语或伤口红肿快速扩散，就应该立即前往医院。
