印度“月船3号”（Chandrayaan-3）月球探测器正飞往月球表面，准备进行印度史上首次月球着陆尝试。
据美国有线电视新闻网（CNN）报道，印度太空研究组（Indian Space Research Organization）在8月22日表示，“月船3号”正按计划顺利飞行。探测器将于印度时间星期三（23日）下午5时45分开始在月球表面着陆的最终尝试。
“月船3号”由印度太空研究组织开发，耗资约7300万美元（约9903万新元），是印度第二次尝试进行月面软着陆的探测器。
若“月船3号”着陆成功，将标志着印度航天器首次完成在月球表面软着陆，印度也将成为有史以来第四个取得这一成就的国家。目前只有美国、中国和原苏联实现了受控落月。
与印度竞争登月第四国的俄罗斯，日前刚刚宣布近50年来的首个月球探测器“月球25号”因出现异常情况，未能进入预定的登月前轨道，最终在月球上坠毁。
