截至星期三（7月19日）凌晨6时，韩国本轮强降雨共导致全国15个市、道临时疏散民众1.649万人，相当于首尔市一半面积的农田被淹。
韩联社报道，韩国总统室发言人李度运在记者会上说，总统尹锡悦星期三将13处暴雨重灾地区指定为“特别灾区”。
依照韩国《灾难与安全管理基本法》规定，特别灾区居民可领取央地政府发放的重建、救灾补贴，并从行政、财政、金融、医疗方面接受特别支援。
韩国中央灾难安全对策本部同日消息，此次暴雨已致44人死亡，其中忠清北道清州市五松宮坪地下车道浸水事故占14人。目前仍有六人下落不明，另有35人受伤。临时疏散的民众中，尚有7839人（5314户）未能返家。
全国共有2000处设施受损，其中公共设施1031处，私有设施943处，主要分布于忠清南道、忠清北道、庆尚北道等地区。
值得关注的是，421户房屋浸水或受损；农田等浸水事故共计74起，3.1万公顷农田被淹、被冲毁或遭受损失；车辆浸水等事故共计409起。星期三下午2时起，KTX高铁的部分线路及普通列车的全部线路停运，38班航班因天气原因停飞。
目前，紧急抢修工作完成进度已达48.8%。据气象厅消息，截至星期三凌晨5时，各地的暴雨特别预警已全面解除。
