The latest product was officially unveiled at the Baidu World 2024 Conference on Tuesday, according to the Science and Technology Board Daily and Yangtze Evening News.
Li Ying, vice president of Baidu Group and CEO of Xiaodu Technology, said that Xiaodu AI glasses weigh 45 grams, almost the same as wearing ordinary glasses, equipped with 16 million pixel ultra-wide-angle camera, in terms of battery life, Xiaodu AI glasses use a low-power circuit architecture design, which can achieve 56 hours of standby.
According to Baidu official introduction, Xiaodu AI glasses have the first perspective shooting, walking while asking, calorie recognition, object encyclopedia, audio-visual translation, intelligent memo and other functions.
Li Ying said that in the use scenarios closely related to glasses such as travel, learning, office, entertainment, and health, there is the application support of Xiaolu, Baidu and the industry ecology.
For example, in the tourism scene, Xiaofu AI glasses can act as a "private tour guide", which can help users free their hands, take pictures while walking, but also combine the location service ability of Baidu map, and integrate with Baidu search and Baidu encyclopedia, supporting users to ask while walking, and understand the history and culture, local customs and customs anytime and anywhere.
When going abroad, attending meetings, and visiting museums, the small degree AI glasses support real-time translation, and can also intelligently analyze the content of photos and extract and summarize information.
The price of Baidu's smart glasses has not yet been finalized, and there are on-site booth staff said that the price may be about 2,000 yuan.
After the success of the AI glasses cooperated by the American Meta company and the glasses giant Ray-Bans, since this year, Chinese Internet companies have competed for layout, in addition to Baidu, many Chinese consumer electronics manufacturers are actively developing smart glasses.
