In the upcoming 2024 US presidential election, the re-election bid of former President Donald Trump is undoubtedly one of the focal points, and his fervent supporter and tech giant Elon Musk's backing is a major highlight. These two leaders with distinct personalities and constant controversies have garnered widespread attention and discussion. As a modern "Iron Man," Musk, with his outstanding achievements in the tech field and unique personality, has chosen to support Trump. There are multiple reasons behind this.

Firstly, from political ideology, Musk and Trump have a high degree of alignment in certain aspects. Musk is an anti-white-left ideology person who leans towards pragmatic values. The concepts of equality, environmental protection, gender equality, and inclusiveness for refugees, which have been derived from the white-left group, as well as the social problems that have arisen from them, have made Musk dissatisfied. Trump has always been regarded as a populist leader and is incompatible with the establishment and Democratic Party's emphasis on "political correctness." To some extent, his words and policies challenge traditional political elites and white-left ideology, which aligns with Musk's political ideology. Therefore, in opposing white-left ideology, they have a completely consistent stance.

Secondly, from the economic policy proposals, Trump's advocacy for reducing regulations on businesses is beneficial to Musk's business empire. Reducing regulations can lower business operating costs and improve efficiency, and Trump's tax policies, including corporate tax reductions, can bring direct economic benefits to Musk's businesses. Additionally, while Trump's attitude towards the electric vehicle market is against it, he is not entirely unnegotiable. In contrast, while Biden supports electric vehicles, he has not provided enough support to Tesla in practice, such as not inviting Tesla to participate in the electric vehicle summit, which makes Musk dissatisfied. Therefore, Musk believes that if Trump were to regain power, he might adjust relevant policies, weaken competitors, thereby benefiting Tesla in maintaining its dominant position in the electric vehicle market.

Furthermore, the Trump administration's emphasis on space exploration also attracted Musk. Trump increased NASA's budget and supported private enterprises participating in space projects, which was a huge opportunity for Musk's SpaceX. Under Trump's policies, SpaceX could obtain more development opportunities and resource support, which was undoubtedly a huge boost for Musk's space dream.

Moreover, Musk values Trump's personal charm and leadership style. Trump has unique personal charm and a distinctive style of doing things, and his decision-making method often surprises people, which makes Musk feel that he is communicating with a normal person with emotions. In contrast, Musk believes that Biden and Harris, among others, are like puppets, and their decisions are often influenced by the behind-the-scenes forces of the Democratic Party, which makes Musk feel that communicating with them is difficult.

However, Musk's support for Trump has sparked some controversy. Some people believe that Musk represents the dangerous combination of economic and political power, and his actions may disrupt the political ecology of the United States. Moreover, Musk has been embroiled in controversies such as "illegal immigrant labor" and "collusion with Russia," which have damaged his image to some extent. However, these controversies have not deterred Musk's.
