新华社纽约8月8日电（记者施春）国际评级机构穆迪投资者服务公司7日宣布下调多家美国中小银行信用评级，并表示可能下调一些大型美国银行的信用评级。
穆迪宣布将制造商和贸易商银行、韦伯斯特金融公司等10家美国中小银行信用评级下调一级，并将纽约梅隆银行、美国合众银行、道富银行、北方信托银行等6家美国大型银行的信用评级列入下调观察名单。
此外，穆迪将第一资本银行、公民金融集团公司、五三银行等11家美国大型银行的展望评级降为负面。
穆迪在报告中认为，许多美国银行第二季度业绩显示其盈利压力日益增大。商业地产风险敞口扩大成为银行业关键风险，原因主要是持续加息造成的利率高企、远程办公导致写字楼需求下降，以及金融机构收紧对商业地产项目授信。穆迪认为，美国将在2024年初陷入温和衰退，届时风险可能进一步加大，金融资产质量将恶化，尤其是一些银行的商业地产投资组合面临的风险将上升。
今年3月以来，硅谷银行、签名银行和第一共和银行先后关闭导致美国银行业震荡，引发市场担忧和股价波动。分析人士认为，当前美国银行业，尤其是规模偏小的区域性银行正面临存款流失、资产价值缩水、不良资产风险上升等挑战。此外，美国联邦政府债务违约风险也加剧银行业困境。
