谷歌公司的云部门裁员至少100人。
CNBC星期一（6月3日）援引内部信函报道，谷歌（Google）云部门销售、运营、工程、咨询和“进入市场”（go to market）战略等部门的一些职位被裁。
谷歌发言人表示：“我们将继续发展业务，以满足客户的优先需求，把握未来的重大机遇。我们将继续致力于投资对我们业务至关重要的领域，确保长期成功。”
这家总部位于加利福尼亚州的科技巨头因压缩成本，于4月份裁减了不同团队的员工，具体人数不详。谷歌也在1月份裁掉了数百名员工。
另外，Business Insider报道，微软（Microsoft）的Azure云计算部门将裁员数百人。报道称，此次裁员将影响包括Azure for Operators和Mission Engineering在内的团队。报道还援引知情人士说，Azure for Operators裁员涉及多达1500个工作岗位。
此前，由于经济不确定，科技和媒体行业出现了一系列裁员潮。
