据知情人士透露，截至旧金山时间周六下午，包括红杉资本在内的约125家风投公司，签署了由风投公司General Catalyst牵头的声明。该声明称，过去两天发生的事件“令人深感失望和担忧”，并表示如果硅谷银行被另一家实体收购，投资者将继续与它保持关系。
同样在周六，创业孵化器Y Combinator向美国财政部长珍妮特·耶伦和其他监管机构，发布了一份由数百名创始人和首席执行官签署的请愿书，要求“缓解和关注对小企业、对创业公司，及对它们在硅谷银行存款的员工的直接重大影响”。请愿书要求在硅谷银行存款的小企业得到补偿，并要求国会“恢复对区域银行更有力的监管和资本要求”。
