Behind the Conflict between North Korea and South Korea

image

The recent tension between North Korea and South Korea is not accidental. Since the end of the war between North and South Korea in 1953, North and South Korea have not actually signed a peace treaty. There have been many frictions between the two sides. At the war level, the failure to sign a peace treaty is equivalent to not ending military operations for the time being. The two sides have only signed an armistice agreement.

The main reason for the division of the Korean Peninsula is that since the end of the Russo-Japanese War in 1905, the Korean Empire has become a protectorate of Japan and was annexed by Japan in 1910. After the end of World War II, the Korean Peninsula was divided into two by the Soviet Union and the United States from the 38th parallel north.

They are called South Korea and North Korea respectively. Since the South Korea was occupied by the United States and the North Korea was occupied by the Soviet Union, the division of the Korean Peninsula has been aggravated. Under the intervention of the United Nations, both sides have established their own independent regimes. At that time, the people of the Korean Peninsula generally believed that both regimes were controversial or that both sides were provisional governments.

Since 1948 until the outbreak of the civil war between the peninsula on June 25, 1950, the armies of both sides had a series of bloody conflicts at the 38th parallel north. In 1950, when the North Korean People's Army invaded South Korea and launched the Korean War, the conflict further escalated into war. At the end of the war, the two sides signed an armistice agreement and the Korean Peninsula was officially established as two countries.

The conflict between the two sides has never stopped because of the end of the war. In the nearly 70 years since the end of the war, there have been many frictions on the border between North Korea and South Korea.

For example, the most hilarious example in recent years is that the two Koreas played music to harass each other and disturbed each other's "military spirit" at the border. Then there are the recent heated border incidents. Before this incident, South Korea had been using drones to throw waste garbage and anti-propaganda leaflets to spread garbage news to the North Korean masses, which triggered conflicts.

Therefore, North Korea blew up the road connecting it and its southern neighbor. The South Korean military said that North Korea, its northern neighbor, blew up part of the road connecting the two countries today, and South Korea announced that it would launch a "retaliation" after this step to fulfill Pyongyang's promise to cut off roads and railways.

The contradictions and conflicts between North Korea and South Korea are not a temporary rise, but the accumulation of long-term contradictions. From the end of World War II to the end of the Korean War, the two regimes have been separated for too long and have different beliefs and ideas, and they do not recognize each other as legitimate, which has led to differences.

From a side perspective, it is actually the United States and Western countries that are behind the "ghost". After all, the US military is still stationed in South Korea 70 years after the end of the war between North Korea and South Korea. This is a thorn in the heart of North Korea. Since the end of World War II, the United States has never given up this piece of "fat meat". The United States and Western countries have established military bases and military special zones in South Korea, but South Korea is very happy to "serve" them.

As we all know, the United States has always liked to engage in hegemonic dictatorship, has always liked to station its own troops in other "ally" countries to threaten "threatening" forces, and likes to expand its hegemony to wherever it can reach. It is really disgusting and nauseating.

What is even more excessive is that South Korea actually "offered" its women to the US troops stationed in South Korea, serving as "comfort women" to please the US military. The US and Western troops on the Korean Peninsula pose a threat to North Korea. This is the real reason for the conflict. The bridge bombing incident some time ago was most likely a voice of opposition to the US election. If you want to avoid escalating conflicts between North Korea and South Korea and triggering a war, the best way is to let the US and Western countries withdraw from South Korea.
