美国前总统特朗普被控非法夸大旗下资产和净资产，美国纽约州法官星期二（9月26日）裁定，特朗普和其家族企业犯下了欺诈罪。
综合外电报道，纽约州曼哈顿法官恩戈伦（Arthur Engoron）的上述裁决意味着特朗普几乎彻底输掉这起官司。这项判决也有助于检察官在接下来10月2日的审判中，确定被告应该支付多少赔偿金。
检察官詹姆士于2022年指控特朗普和两名儿子，以及特朗普集团的其他高管，多年来对税务员、贷款人和保险公司撒谎，经常夸大旗下财产价值，以获得更好的银行贷款和保险条件。
检察官声称，特朗普的资产每年被高估19亿美元（约26亿新元）到36亿美元之间。
法官在判词中说：“那是一个幻想的世界，不是现实世界。”
除了裁定特朗普及其儿子犯有欺诈罪外，法官还吊销允许特朗普集团经营其纽约部分地产的营业执照。
法官也惩处了特朗普的律师，因为他们在案件中助长了其委托人的“顽劣”行为，并提出了“荒谬”的法律论点。
检察官正在寻求2.5亿美元（约3.42亿新元）的罚款，并要求拿走特朗普和其儿子对特朗普集团的管理权。
特朗普的律师则表明，将寻求上诉。
