美国联邦航空局星期一（7月8日）说，由于波音737型客机乘客使用的制氧装置可能在紧急情况下失效，因此要求波音公司对涉及的2600架737型客机进行检查。
新华社报道，美国联邦航空局说，该机构收到多起乘客使用的制氧装置因固定问题发生移位的报告，此问题可能导致在机舱发生减压时制氧装置无法为乘客供氧，因此要求对737 MAX和737 NG系列客机进行检查。
据联邦航空局介绍，其适航指令立即生效，要求在120天至150天内对737型客机进行必要的检查并采取纠正措施，必要时更换并调整制氧装置的位置。
波音公司星期一发表声明说，已通知航空公司更新737型客机的制氧装置上的部分固定带。
今年以来，波音飞机安全事故频发。一架美国联合航空公司的波音757-200客机7月8日从洛杉矶起飞时，起落架的一个轮胎掉落，这架飞机随后安全降落在丹佛机场。3月7日，美联航一架波音777-200客机从旧金山起飞后，也发生轮胎掉落事故。
