一名美国官员星期天（11月26日）说，被劫持的油轮“中央公园”号已被美国军舰解救。
路透社引述的美国官员称，美国海军驱逐舰“梅森”号回应了亚丁湾一艘油轮的求救信号，油轮现已安全。
这艘载有磷酸货物的油轮已确定是以色列商人拥有的中央公园号。中央公园号当天早些时候在亚丁湾附近遭劫持。美国官员没有透露油轮劫持者的身份。
根据美国军方的一份声明，梅森号在盟军军舰的协助下，命令劫持者释放这艘商船。五名武装分子试图乘坐快艇逃逸，但遭到美国军舰的追击，最终投降。
声明还说，两枚弹道导弹从也门胡塞武装控制地区向梅森号和油轮的方向发射，但弹道导弹落在距离梅森号和油轮约10海里处，没有造成任何破坏或人员伤亡。
这是10月7日以色列和哈马斯爆发新一轮冲突以来，中东水域发生的一连串袭击中的最新一起。
