路透社报道，卡巴斯基实验室（Kaspersky Labs）将撤销在美国的所有职位，消费者也不能在公司网站购买任何产品。它星期一（15日）发表声明说：“无法向美国客户销售产品。”
美国商务部长雷蒙多6月说，美国政府计划禁止卡巴斯基实验室生产的反病毒软件在美国销售，指莫斯科对这家网络安全公司的影响力给美国带来风险。
美国政府6月也以网络安全风险为由，对卡巴斯基实验室的高层人员实施制裁，包括其首席业务开发官、首席运营官、法务官和企业传播主管。
