美国国际战略研究中心（CSIS）的朝鲜专题网站Beyond Parallel发布的最新报告显示，朝鲜领导人金正恩和俄罗斯总统普京上个月举行峰会后，往来朝俄的火车交通量激增，显示两国之间“可能”已开始武器转移。
法新社报道，高分辨率卫星图像显示，朝鲜边境图们江铁路设施内有至少70辆货运车，即使是同冠病疫情暴发前的水平相比，这也是“前所未有”的。过去五年，铁路设施内的货运车不超过20辆。
报告说，这可能显示朝鲜正向俄罗斯供应武器和弹药，但由于集装箱上覆盖着防水布，因此无法确认里头的货物。
金正恩在冠病疫情后首次出访选择了俄罗斯。9月13日，普京在俄罗斯远东阿穆尔州的东方航天发射场迎接金正恩，两人在会谈中讨论了军事合作、乌克兰战争，以及莫斯科可能帮助平壤建造卫星等课题。
