The US military said that the US Navy's "Nimitz" class nuclear-powered aircraft carrier "Bush" has arrived in the Middle East, increasing the number of large US warships operating in the region to three.

AFP reported that the US Central Command, which is responsible for military operations in the Middle East, Central Asia and parts of South Asia, posted a message on social media with a picture on Thursday (April 23rd), stating that the USS Bush was sailing in the Indian Ocean that day. The northwest of the Indian Ocean is closely adjacent to the Middle East (West Asia).

According to the information released by the Central Command, the second aircraft carrier "Ford" was on a mission in the Red Sea on the 23rd, and the third aircraft carrier "Lincoln" was also in the Middle East. Each of these aircraft carriers was accompanied by a large number of support vessels as it set sail.

According to the US military, the area under the jurisdiction of the Central Command includes the Persian Gulf, the Red Sea, the Gulf of Oman, and the Arabian Sea located in the northwest of the Indian Ocean.

The aircraft carrier strike group of the USS Bush set off from the Norfolk Naval Base in Virginia on the east coast of the United States on March 31st, circumvented the Cape of Good Hope in Africa, and headed for the Middle East. According to the website of the US Military Times, the USS Bush aircraft carrier strike group includes several destroyers and a total of 5,000 military personnel.

Currently, the two aircraft carrier strike groups, the USS Lincoln and the USS Ford, are respectively deployed in the Red Sea and the northern part of the Arabian Sea. According to reports from the US media, the USS Bush is likely to replace the USS Ford. During the handover period, it is expected that the US military will form a deployment situation with the USS Bush, USS Ford, and USS Lincoln in the Middle East region.

Trump posted on social media that day, once again denying that he was in a hurry to end the war against Iran, and stating that he had plenty of time, "but Iran doesn't - time is ticking down!"
