石油输出国组织（OPEC，简称油盟）星期一（10月9日）发布《2023年世界石油展望报告》，上调了全球石油需求预测。
新华社报道，油盟预计2045年全球石油日均需求量为1.16亿桶，比2022年日均9960万桶的需求量增加16.4%。
油盟说，全球石油需求的增长将主要来自新兴经济体和发展中地区，油盟的预测是基于对未来20年全球人口和经济持续增长的预期。
油盟还预测，未来20年，石油仍将是全球能源结构中占比最大的部分，但比例将从2022年的31.2%下降至2045年的29.5%。风能、太阳能等可再生能源占比将从2022年的2.7%升至2045年的11.7%。
油盟秘书长盖斯在报告前言中说，油盟对2045年全球日均石油需求的最新预测比《2022年世界石油展望报告》增加约600万桶，而且这一数字还有可能进一步调高。
盖斯说，为满足持续增长的全球石油需求，石油行业在2045年之前将需要约14万亿美元（约19万亿新元）的投资。
但是，也有国际能源机构对全球石油需求前景持不同看法。国际能源署今年6月发布的2023年中期石油市场报告认为，随着向清洁能源转型进程加速，未来几年全球石油需求增长幅度将显著放缓。国际能源署署长比罗尔当时说，随着电动汽车的发展、能源效率的提高和其他技术的进步，全球石油需求有望在这个十年结束前达到峰值。
