US President Trump warned Iran not to charge fees for oil tankers passing through the Strait of Hormuz.

On Thursday (April 9th), Trump posted a message on social media, saying that Iran "did a very poor job" in allowing oil tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump wrote on Truth Social: "Iran has done a terrible job in allowing oil to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. Some people might say that's a disgraceful thing. This is definitely not the agreement we reached!"

He warned that if Iran is charging tolls for oil tankers passing through the Strait of Hormuz, "it would be best to stop doing so immediately."

The ceasefire talks between the United States and Iran are scheduled to take place in Pakistan on the 11th.
