The UK has temporarily evacuated its staff from the embassy in Iran.

The British government announced on Friday (February 27th) that due to security concerns, it has temporarily evacuated its embassy staff from Iran.

The British Department for Foreign Affairs, Federal Affairs and Development has issued a security alert: "Information on regional risks: Due to the security situation, British staff have temporarily evacuated. The British Embassy will continue to operate remotely."
