The White House of the United States stated that President Trump intends to call on Arab countries to bear the costs of the war against Iran.

Reuters reported that White House Press Secretary Leavitt was asked on Monday (March 30th) whether Arab countries would help cover the cost of the war. She said she would not disclose the information before Trump did, but this was indeed an idea of Trump's.

Levitt said, "I think the president is likely to call on them to do so. I know he has this idea, and I believe you will hear more about it from him."

Levitt also said that the negotiations with Tehran aimed at ending the war were progressing smoothly. He also pointed out that Tehran's public statements were different from what it said privately to US officials, stating that Iran had privately agreed to some of the viewpoints proposed by Washington.

She said: "Despite the Iranian regime's public displays of various postures and dissemination of false reports, negotiations are still ongoing and progressing smoothly. Of course, their public statements are completely different from the information they conveyed to us privately."

Levitt said that the US military operation against Iran is "progressing as planned", and the US still maintains that the military operation will last for "four to six weeks".

Levitt said that currently Iran has agreed that 20 oil tankers can pass through the Strait of Hormuz. "We expect to announce the addition of another 20 oil tankers in the coming days," "This is the result of direct and indirect negotiations between the US and Iran."

Levitt urged Iran to reach an agreement with the United States as soon as possible, saying that Trump had set April 6 as the deadline. "Only a few days left. Let's wait and see."

On the 30th, Trump warned that if Iran did not open the Strait of Hormuz, Iran's energy plants and oil wells would be destroyed. On the 29th, he stated that the US military action against Iran had led to a regime change in Iran, and the US was now dealing with the new Iranian leadership and confidently assured that an agreement would be reached with Iran.

Previously, the Iranian side stated that the US peace proposal was "unrealistic" and fired multiple missiles at Israel.
