Japanese Prime Minister Saane Takaishi confirmed that the missile just launched by North Korea did not cause damage to Japan's exclusive economic zone or sea areas.

The military is analyzing specific parameters such as the type of ballistic missile and flight distance.

This is the first time that North Korea has launched a missile since South Korean President Lee Jae-myung took office, while Takaaki Saomae officially took office on Tuesday.

Takaichi Saane said, "We are closely cooperating with the United States to take all necessary measures, including real-time sharing of information on North Korea's missiles."

The APEC Leaders' Summit was held in Gyeongju, South Korea from October 31st to November 1st.
