Xinhua News Agency reported that Macron told France TV One on Monday (June 15th) that if the situation remains stable in the coming days, French and British troops will be deployed together to the Strait of Hormuz; France's Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier could arrive within two or three days.

He added that countries like Italy and the Netherlands were also ready to participate in the operation.

On Sunday (the 14th), the United States and Iran announced that they had reached an agreement. They expect to sign a memorandum of understanding on stopping the conflict on Friday (the 19th).

On Monday, Macron posted a message on social media, calling on all parties to promptly and fully implement the memorandum of understanding to ensure that the Strait of Hormuz can be reopened as soon as possible and without conditions.
