Japanese media said that Takashi's tenure as prime minister is a crisis of survival for Japan

An editorial published by Japan's "Social New Newspaper" recently stated: "The very existence of Takaichi Saane as prime minister is a crisis of Japan's survival."

On November 7, Japanese Prime Minister Saane Takaishi said in her defense in the Diet that "Taiwan is in trouble" might constitute a "crisis of survival" where Japan can exercise its right of collective self-defense. Japanese media, scholars and insightful people have all strongly criticized this statement made by Takaichi Saori.

Xinhua News Agency reported that Noriyuki Kawamura, an honorary professor at Nagoya University of Foreign Studies and vice president of the Japan-China Relations Society, wrote an article pointing out that the remarks made by Saori Takaishi regarding Taiwan have broken through the positions of successive Japanese governments. Her remarks have interfered in China's internal affairs and trampled on the One-China principle.

Youdaoplaceholder0 Valatsu, an emeritus professor at Yamaguchi University in Japan, believes that the Taiwan-related remarks made by Takaichi Saane fundamentally negate Japan's development path of following the constitution and being a peaceful country, and deserve severe criticism.

The editorial of the Social New Paper pointed out that the policy intentions of Kaohsiung's early Miao are gradually becoming clear. She disregards people's livelihood, follows the United States step by step, and even attempts to fully strengthen military expansion.

The editorial said that in Kaohsiung's policy speech, there were hawkish policies such as achieving the target of increasing defense spending ahead of schedule, establishing a "National Intelligence Agency", and easing rules on arms exports. This could only be regarded as a deliberate escalation of tensions.

Since Takaishi Saane was elected prime minister, her ruling foundation has not been solid. The ruling coalition composed of the Liberal Democratic Party and the Japan Reform Association holds less than half of the seats in both the House of Representatives and the House of Councillors of the Japanese Diet. The Social New Daily reported that Kaohsiung's Early Miao should have chosen to "hide her edge" and listen to the opinions of the opposition parties, but it is obvious that she has chosen to consolidate her base by highlighting her right-wing stance.

Youdaoplaceholder0 Valhou said that there was a clear political calculation in Kaohsiung's early miao, that is, to consolidate her support base by constantly emphasizing the "China threat theory" and the "vigilance against China theory".

Youdaoplaceholder0 valho emphasized that Japan should, in accordance with the One-China principle confirmed at the normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan, commit to building peaceful relations with China. For Japan's security, diplomacy and economy, establishing mutually beneficial relations with China should be the top priority.
