Attention is focused on when the Constitutional Court will issue a ruling on the impeachment of South Korean President Yoon Seok-yol, with some analysts speculating that a ruling could be made as early as around 14.

Yonhap news Agency reported that according to the South Korean legal community on Sunday (March 9) news, after the end of the last debate of the Yoon Seok-yue impeachment trial on the 25th of last month, the Constitutional Court held a review meeting every day to discuss the case.

However, some analysts say that the ruling may have to be delayed for another one to two weeks as the Constitutional Court has increased its workload due to Yun's full defense of procedural and substantive issues in the impeachment trial. Yin Xiyue's side may file a separate procedural dispute on the grounds that the court approves the application for revoking the arrest measure.

A fixed sentencing date will be announced two to three days before sentencing.

If the Constitutional Court rules for impeachment, Yin will be removed from office; If the impeachment is not upheld, Yoon will immediately resume the presidency.

In addition, the president's office said that considering the impeachment verdict is imminent, Yoon will avoid outside activities as much as possible, pending the Constitutional Court's ruling.

Although Yoon's outside activities are no longer restricted after his release on Saturday, he may stay at his official residence for some time to come, meeting only with officials of the presidential office, members of the ruling People's Power Party and defenders.

Due to the suspension of Yoon's presidential duties, he could not officially hear the work report of the presidential office staff, but he may receive reference materials related to state affairs. Yoon will also discuss with the defense team how to deal with the criminal trial of the civil unrest case.
