Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed on Sunday (September 14) urged the international community to "stop double standards" and punish Israel for its "crimes".
AFP reported that after Israel carried out an unprecedented air strike on Hamas leaders in Doha, Qatar organized an emergency summit of Arab and Islamic leaders, and Mohammed delivered a speech at the preparatory meeting on the eve of the summit.
It is now time for the international community to stop applying double standards and punish Israel for all its crimes. Israel must understand that the extermination war that our brotherly Palestinian people are suffering, which aims to drive them out of their homes, will not succeed.
According to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Ansari, the meeting of Arab and Islamic leaders to be held on Monday (the 15th) will review the "draft resolution on Israel's attack on the State of Qatar".
The leaders attending the meeting included Iranian President Pezeshkian and Iraqi Prime Minister Sudani. Palestinian President Abbas arrived in Doha on the eve of the summit.
According to Turkish media reports, Turkish President Erdogan is also expected to attend.
It remains to be seen whether Crown Prince Salman, the de facto ruler of Saudi Arabia, will attend the meeting.
Hamas Political Bureau member Naem said that the organization hopes this summit can reach a "decisive and unified Arab-Islamic position" on Israel and the war issue and propose "clear and specific measures".
