Having won the US presidential election twice, Trump still refuses to admit that he lost his bid for re-election in 2020. Trump admits that only winning the election can satisfy his "ego".

AFP reported that on Thursday (February 5th), during his speech at a national prayer breakfast held in Washington, Trump said: "They manipulated the second election. I must win. I must definitely win. I need to win to satisfy my self-esteem."

"Otherwise, I will feel my self-esteem being undermined for the rest of my life."

What Trump referred to as the "second election" was his bid for re-election in 2020, which was defeated by the Democratic challenger Biden.

The 79-year-old Trump said, "Now my self-esteem has soared. Defeating those lunatics was truly amazing."

After achieving a historic turnaround in the 2024 presidential election and easily defeating the Democratic presidential candidate Harris, Trump continued to insist that he had won the 2020 presidential election, despite the fact that the US courts had confirmed the validity of the 2020 presidential election results.
