Lee Jae-myeong: Hard to accept the "strategic flexibility" of the US military's operations in South Korea

Yonhap News Agency reported that South Korean President Lee Jae-myung said that Seoul finds it difficult to accept the US demand for "strategic flexibility" in the operation of the US military in South Korea.

Lee Jae-myung made the above remarks on his way to Washington. He will hold a summit meeting with US President Trump on Monday (August 25th) and is expected to focus on discussing national security, South Korea's defense spending and the details of the trade agreement reached by the two sides at the end of July.
