Iran's Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said that Iran "prioritizes its neighboring countries", and during his visit to Oman, he discussed with the Omani side ways to ensure safe navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
Alaghi said on the social media platform X early Monday (April 27) that the focus of the talks in Oman was to ensure safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz, "for the benefit of all our dear neighboring countries and the entire world."
Alaghi attached a photo of himself shaking hands with Sultan Hamad of Oman to the post and wrote: "As a country along the Strait of Hormuz, our focus includes finding ways to ensure safe navigation, for the benefit of all our dear neighbors and the entire world."
He also said, "We give priority to our neighboring countries."
Alaghzzi met with Haishem in Muscat, the capital of Oman, on the 26th. Later that day, he left Oman and stayed in Pakistan for several hours before traveling to Russia for an visit. The Oman News Agency reported that Haishem emphasized during the meeting that dialogue and diplomatic means should be given priority in resolving the issue.
According to the Saudi Arabian News Agency, Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal held a phone call with Al-Arghuzi on the 26th to discuss the development of regional situations and efforts to ease tensions.
