The National Disaster Management Authority of Pakistan said that from June 26 to July 12, heavy rainfall and floods have caused at least 104 deaths and over 200 injuries across the country.

Data from various regions show that Punjab Province in the east has the highest death toll, reaching 39. Secondly, there are 31 people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province in the northwest, 17 in Sindh Province in the south and 16 in Balochistan Province in the southwest.
The authorities have issued a new round of rainfall warnings and urged residents, especially those in low-lying and vulnerable areas, to take preventive measures.
At present, the government is still carrying out search and rescue operations in the areas most severely affected by the disaster.
