路透社报道，中国资产管理公司中植企业集团告诉投资者，公司正面对流动性危机，并将展开债务重组工作。
路透社引述消息人士报道，中植星期四（8月17日）在会议上说，他们已聘请四大会计师事务所之一对公司进行全面审计，并在寻找战略投资者。
中植尚未回应路透社的置评请求。
中植企业集团旗下的中融信托被证实逾期兑付，逾期金额近1亿元（人民币，1868万新元）。
彭博社报道，中融信托发生兑付逾期后，只有《中国房地产报》、《中国基金报》少数几家媒体报道了中植集团这家管理着约1万亿元资产的企业。
财经评论员和业余作者近半年一直在社交媒体上讨论“中植系”的风险，但一些官媒仅报道了中融信托兑付逾期一事。
