The Israeli military said that it killed two Palestinians in the West Bank town of Tamon on Thursday (September 25) and accused them of planning an attack.

The military statement said that the Israeli border police, the Defense Forces and special forces of the National Security Directorate (Shin Bet, also known as Shin Bet) launched a joint operation to destroy a terrorist organization that planned to carry out a terrorist attack.

The Israeli army shot and killed the two men after surrounding the building where they were taking refuge.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said it had received notification from the Israeli side and indicated that the bodies of the two individuals were still with the Israeli military.

Israel has occupied the West Bank since 1967. Since the conflict broke out between Israel and Kazakhstan in October 2023, violent incidents have frequently occurred in the West Bank.
