US President Trump still mocks his predecessor Joe Biden as "Sleepy Joe" to this day, but the 79-year-old Trump has also dozed off many times at cabinet meetings.

At 79, Trump is the oldest person to be elected president in the history of the United States. During the cabinet meeting held on Tuesday (December 2nd), when his core team took turns praising his leadership in front of the camera, he showed a state of inattention, closing his eyes many times and seemingly "dozing off" during the cabinet meeting.

When US Commerce Secretary Lutnik talked about the trade war, Trump "seemed unable to open his eyes". When US Education Secretary McMahon and US Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert Kennedy Jr. were speaking, Trump "seemed to freeze, closing his eyes for 10 to 15 seconds each time before rolling his eyes or nodding."

AFP pointed out that this incident has once again raised concerns about the health condition of the Republican billionaire, who and his assistants had previously denied speculations about his health. Before the cabinet meeting, Trump refuted the claim that he was no longer capable and even declared that he was more perceptive than he was 25 years ago.

The White House strongly denied any claim that Trump dozed off at the meeting. White House Press Secretary Levitt responded that Trump "had been listening attentively and presided over the three-hour cabinet meeting."

China News Service quoted Levitt as saying that Trump held nine cabinet meetings this year and gave a "strong response" when answering questions. Levitt said, "At all these historic meetings, the president and his outstanding team have emphasized the remarkable achievements they have made for the American people, which are aimed at making America great again."
