新华社报道，俄罗斯远东和北极发展部第一副部长侯塞因诺夫星期四（12月7日）说，俄罗斯2020年开始实施的支持北极地区发展战略已吸引766个投资项目，投资总额将达1.75万亿卢布，有望创造约4万个工作岗位。截至目前，当地投资项目已经创造1万3000多个工作岗位。
侯塞因诺夫在圣彼得堡举行的第十三届“北极：现状和未来”国际论坛全体会议上说，所有投资领域中采矿业投资额最多，约为8620亿卢布（124亿8700万新元），有44个项目正在实施。其次为油气化工行业，投资额约2070亿卢布（29亿5400万新元），有15个项目正在实施；就行业而言，服务业项目最多，有197个项目。建筑和开发业以143个项目位居其次，旅游业有127个项目正在实施。
另外，俄罗斯国家原子能公司北极开发事务特别代表帕诺夫在论坛全体会议上说，2023年北方航道将运输3600万吨以上的货物，打破纪录。
第十三届“北极：现状和未来”国际论坛12月7日至12月8日在圣彼得堡举行，来自俄罗斯等国的2000多名代表将围绕北极地区社会经济发展议题交流意见并制定策略。
