The Iranian presidential office again denies the rumor of Peshchiziyar's resignation, stating that it is the foreign media that are spreading the false information

Iranian presidential府 officials again denied on Sunday (May 31st) the rumor that President Pehlevizadeh had submitted his resignation to Supreme Leader Muqtada al-Sadr. They stated that this claim was spread by some foreign media.

Xinhua News Agency reported that Tabatabai, an official in charge of news and communication affairs at the Iranian presidential office, posted a statement on social media denying that Peshchizijan had resigned. He said that Peshchizijan would continue to perform his duties and would not cease to serve the people of Iran.

Iranian media reported on the same day that Peshezehizan emphasized in a speech that the government would continue to carry out its various tasks with a firm attitude "until the very last moment".

On the same day, Pezhesizhijian also posted on social media, saying that the country is currently facing many challenges, and overcoming these difficulties requires the joint participation and support of all sectors of society. The government has the responsibility to truthfully explain to the people the problems and current situation faced by the country, in order to promote the participation of the entire society in solving these problems.

Pezehizhijan also said that in the face of difficulties and challenges, Iran needs to further strengthen social unity and collaboration.

In early May, officials from the Iranian presidential office denied that there were any differences between Peshchizijan and the top officials of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran. They stated that the rumors about Peshchizijan's possible resignation were fabricated by some media as part of an effort to create a hot topic.
