Witness: The Israeli army launched a fierce bombing in Gaza City

Witnesses said that the Israeli army carried out fierce bombings on Gaza City on Tuesday (September 16th), and local civil defense forces expect the number of casualties to continue to rise.

AFP quoted witness Gazal as saying, "Gaza City has been subjected to fierce and relentless bombing, and the danger continues to increase."

He added that local houses were destroyed and some residents were trapped in the ruins.

The spokesperson of Gaza's civil defense department, Basal, said that the intense bombing of various parts of Gaza City is still ongoing and the number of casualties is expected to continue to rise.

Us Secretary of State Rubio said during his visit to Jerusalem on Monday (15th) that Washington will offer "unwavering support" to its Allies in the Gaza war and called for the eradication of Hamas.

Rubio said, "The people of Gaza deserve a better future, but this bright future can only begin after Hamas is eradicated."

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu emphasized that the current relationship between Israel and the United States is as solid as a rock.
