Iran has released the main contents of 10 ceasefire terms submitted through Pakistan to the US side.

According to Xinhua News Agency, the Supreme National Security Council of Iran announced on Wednesday (April 8th) the main contents of 10 ceasefire terms, including: controlled passage through the Strait of Hormuz in coordination with the Iranian armed forces; the cessation of the war against all resistance forces in the region; the withdrawal of US combat troops from all bases and deployment points in the region; the formulation of a security passage agreement for the Strait of Hormuz to ensure Iran's dominance; full compensation for the losses suffered by Iran based on estimates; the lifting of all primary and secondary sanctions and the revocation of relevant resolutions of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the United Nations Security Council; the unfreezing of all frozen overseas assets and properties of Iran; and the final adoption of a binding UN Security Council resolution to approve all of the above terms.

The highest national security committee of Iran stated in a statement that the approval of the UN Security Council resolution would make all these provisions binding international laws, "bringing a major diplomatic victory for Iran". Pakistan has informed Iran that the US side accepts the above principles as the basis for negotiations.
